Hello Beautiful !

I hope this message finds you basking in the glorious colors of Fall! WE have been busy preparing for "W" at our home. We have learned that since we live in a snow belt it can suddenly arrive anytime from October and sty until March/April. Sprinklers and outside hoses are blown out and put away. Garden is almost all pulled.

I had this one ROGUE Cherry tomato plant that literally took over an entire garden bed, over took 2 other full size tomato plants, extended outside the fence and presently has tons of green tomatoes on it. Most of it is dismantled, hung to ripen the green ones and the rest is thrown in the woods to feed the critters. As I was grumbling about how many intertwined branches I had to unweave I was reminded of the Bounty I had in my hands.

Mindset is definitely a monumental shift in how we see events, life hiccups, the pauses, direction changes, etc... My prayer for you is that if you are experiencing any of these just take a moment to.... Stop, Close your eyes, Breathe, and Shift your view. It can make a world of difference!

FACE FACTS

Since this months in person Series focuses on your Cheeks, Sinus, and Mouth area I wanted to share some facts about the middle part of your Beautiful Face.

  • All the muscles in your face are interconnected
  • As we become "more seasoned" in life we lose cheek fat. Hence less prominent cheek area and a flattening of the face.
  • By Strengthening and Practicing Face Yoga poses you can Lift and Strengthen you cheek muscles to bulk up(like a bicep).
  • These muscles(Levator) Lift the corners of your mouth. WE are talking building a symmetrical smile. :)
  • Reducing Nasolabial Folding(the lines from your nose to your mouth).
  • Because it's All Connected this impacts and starts streamlining your jaw area. This also begins the process of easing TMJ symptoms.
  • Under your cheeks you have the Sphenoid bone. It looks like a bat or butterfly. This houses your sinuses. It can become tender and inflamed but with acupressure techniques and exercises this can be eased and the sinuses area drained.
  • Your ears are also connected to your cheek area.

Hope you enjoyed these few Fun Facts!
